Elizabeth de Monchaux is a London-based sculptor and photographer associated with Blackhorse Lane Studios in Walthamstow, East London, where she works as part of the Barbican Arts Group Trust (BAGT) artist community. She is listed among the resident artists at Blackhorse Lane Studios. 


Elizabeth de Monchaux is a practising sculptor and photographer of over 25 years standing, producing work for commissions and exhibitions. She is also a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. Her practice focuses primarily on sculpture, photography and aluminium and constructed forms.


A recent work by de Monchaux, Pavillion 05/24, an aluminium sculpture, was included in the 2024 exhibition GOLD! at ArtWorks Project Space, the gallery run by BAGT attached to Blackhorse Lane Studios. The exhibition was curated by Daniela Rizzi and formed the headline exhibition for the annual Blackhorse Lane Open Studios event.
